NURSING HOME SERVICES: The service at the Wilber Care Center will be at 10:15 this morning. The service at Tabitha in Crete will be at 10:00 on Monday.
HOLY COMMUNION: Holy Communion will be offered during the service this morning at St. John. May the Lord grant prepared hearts as we receive his body and blood with the bread and wine for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of faith. VISITORS: If you wish to commune this morning, you are asked to speak with the pastor before the service.

CONFIRMATION CLASS: We will meet on Monday at 6:30.
SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS: We will meet on Monday at 7:30.

CHAPEL: Pastor Kahrs will be at St. Paul’s school on Tuesday morning to conduct their chapel service.

LENTEN SERVICES: Zion’s Lenten services are on Wednesdays at 7:30. St. John’s Lenten services are on Thursdays at 7:30.
We continue our series “Dear Christians, One And All, Rejoice” as Pastor Dauck, who serves at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Plymouth) and Christ Lutheran Church (Beatrice), will share God’s Word under the theme, “Your Ransom And Your Rescue.”
Pastor Kahrs will be at Bethel Lutheran Church in York on Wednesday evening and Grace Lutheran Church on Thursday.
SERVICE SUNDAY OPPORTUNITY: Following the service at Zion on April 6, we will be making crafts that will be given to residents in area nursing homes. Anyone that is interested in assisting with crafts or snacks is asked to contact Ashley Kapke, Lori Kapke, or Annette Kracke.

MEETINGS: Zion’s elders will meet on Monday, April 7, at 7:30. The full church council will meet at 8:00 that evening. Please have
all agenda items in by this Wednesday.
​
LENTEN MEALS: There will be a Lenten meal on Wednesday, April 9, from 6:00-7:00. The menu will include roast pork and ham.
​
VOTERS MEETING: The quarterly meetings for St. John will take place following the service next Sunday.
​
EASTER MEALS: St. John has decided to participate in helping 2-3 families in need with a meal on Easter. Donated items will be delivered on Saturday, April 19. For a list of requested items, please, speak with Gary Vocasek or Pastor Kahrs.
​
HOLY WEEK SERVICES: Zion will observe Maundy Thursday with a service on Wednesday, April 16 at 7:30. St. John’s Maundy Thursday service will be on Thursday, April 17, at 7:30. Holy Communion will be offered at both services.
There will be a joint Good Friday service at Zion on Friday, April 18, at 7:30.

DESSERTS: There is a sign-up sheet at the back of the church at Zion for those who are willing to provide desserts following the Good Friday service.
